Start Creating Your Bespoke Piece

Initial Consultation

To begin with, we would need to know your ideas, a brief if you have one and budget to work to.

This can be in the form of an existing piece of jewellery that you have, images you have found, or if you are unsure, we are more than happy to guide and advise you.

Once we have an idea of what you are looking for, we can then discuss the stones to be used – shape, size and colour.

Design Stage

We at Stephen Foster can then create a CAD image for your approval and a 3D print out of your ring for you to see it better and try on. (CAD is computer aided design).

Your input and feedback are always welcome, and we can refine your design as many times as necessary.

Once you are happy with your ring, we would then show you the stones that we have sourced and selected for your ring for you to see and to make sure you are happy with the size, shape and colour (especially if coloured gemstones are being used).

Manufacture

Your ring is then made on site in our workshops by our very skilled goldsmiths and stone setters to your design. Once all the stones are set and the ring has had it’s final polish, it will then be sent to the London Assay Office for hallmarking with the Stephen Foster makers mark alongside the other hallmark components and finally the ‘UK’ mark (‘Created in the UK’) for 100% assurance that your ring or piece of jewellery has been entirely made in the UK by us here at Stephen Foster.

Completion

Once your bespoke ring or piece of jewellery is ready for collection we will send you an email to let you know it is ready, enquire when be and convenient to send it out, to ensure someone with be present to sign for the parcel, and have it delivered directly to you with Guaranteed next day delivery before 13.00 via Royal Mail.
